A blue day
And not in a bad way!
First, I’ve got a guest post, “What I’d Wear Wednesday: Blue” over at Growing a Life. Check it out, and check out the WIWW archives for more great columns. Also, if you’re expecting or know someone who is (like Damselfly herself!), point them towards her Bustin’ Out Babies list.
Second, I took out Maia’s playsilks for the first time yesterday. Here she is enjoying the blue one:

Never heard of playsilks before. Did you know when you actually play peek a boo by hiding behind your hands, babies actually think your face disappears?? Not based on my own research–someone told me. However, how do you KNOW something like that??

I’ve never heard of playsilks either.
I think Maia looked like she was having fun but my husband thought it looked like a baby torture video.

Haha. Nah, she flails her arms and legs all over the place when she’s excited (you should see the first time she sees her daddy in the morning!). When she’s scared, she goes totally still.

I love when babies start flailing their arms and legs because they’re excited. It’s one of the cutest things ever!
Thank you so much for your guest post. It was great!

Playsilks are a news to me, too – but little Maia (what a beautiful name! and great hair!!) seems to enjoy it, for sure.
). We called her Nora Adeele, and she’s most amazing and special human being in our life right now
PS Thank you so much for congratulating us on our birth of our baby girl. She’s over 3 months now, weighing a very healthy 6 kg (I must be producing double cream, as she’s on pure breast milk diet
