Speaking of Facebook…

Does anyone else get a disturbing number of Lebanese or otherwise Middle Eastern men randomly asking to be their friend? Here’s the gem I woke up to today (click for a larger image if it’s too hard to read):

I haven’t ignored him or replied yet… I thought maybe someone here would have a super witty reply that I’d regret missing out on!

Holy crap…you know I am Facebook challenged, but that is too creepy. Sorry to not be PC, but middle-eastern men are one of the ones I tell Katie to stay away from–you know they don’t value women whatsoever. Even the ones raised here, will fall back on their culture when things get tough.

Hmmm..no I haven’t gotten those but agree..yuck! I would not even bother with a reply. Does your profile say married? Not sure if that would make a difference tho, since your non-friends can’t see that…I think it is funny that he has no last name tho (unless your blanked it out to protect his privacy).

BTW automatically generated possibly related post you have at the bottom is cracking me up! Who writes the algorithms for these things??!?!

I did blank out his last name 😉

    I’ve gotten them too… I just ignore.

I’ve noticed a sharp increase in random people ‘liking my beetiful smile’ and other such emails. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

    Do share your witty reply.

Ooh – except you know that if you facebook mail someone, they can see your profile, right? Which is why I don’t do it unless I know them…

  8. Tatiana said,

I went with my normal reaction – ignore!

Big fat Ignore! And, block. I don’t want kisses from a stranger!
