Door Closure Test

January 7, 2009 at 2:24 pm (Daily Life) (, , )

They knocked on my door.  I answered.

They stopped the door before I opened it 6 inches, let it close, and said “Thanks, we’re done.”

That was it.

How do I get a job as a door closure testing specialist?

That might be the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Seriously.

I can’t believe I got dressed and straightened up the house for it.

    LOL. That is hilarious.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. 🙂 To answer your question, my dog, Sydney was very curious and tolerant about the baby right away. My dog, Sarah, was unsure of the thing that showed up and was a bit sad about it taking me away from her. Delia could climb all over Sydney from the start, and Sarah finally came around. I think it helped a lot that we had the dogs while I was pregnant. To prep the dogs for the baby, I put the nursery together early, and I carried around a stuffed animal wrapped in a blanket. I would let the dogs sniff it, but I tried to teach them that I wouldn’t always be paying attention to them anymore. I think it helped. Good luck with the baby!
